Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Uzika Academy's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including students, instructors, and visitors.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, parental consent is required.

User Accounts

When creating an account on Uzika Academy, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

Account Types

  • Student accounts grant access to enrolled courses, certificates, and community features.
  • Instructor accounts allow course creation, publishing, and analytics access.

Account Security

You must notify Uzika Academy immediately of any unauthorized account use.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Course Content

Course materials are provided for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

Content Quality

Uzika Academy does not guarantee completeness or accuracy of all instructor-provided content.

Content Access

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access enrolled courses.

Recording or redistributing content is strictly prohibited.

Payments & Refunds

Course prices are displayed in the applicable currency at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment providers. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, though any changes will not affect already-purchased courses.

Refund Policy

Uzika Academy offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on most course purchases. To qualify for a refund, you must request it within 30 days of the original purchase date through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

Exceptions

  • Refunds are not available for courses where more than 50% of the content has been accessed or completed.
  • Subscription-based plans may only be refunded within 7 days of renewal if no new content has been accessed during the renewal period.
  • Promotional or free courses, gift purchases, and bundled packages may have separate refund policies as stated at the time of purchase.

Instructor Earnings

Instructors earn revenue based on their published pricing and the applicable revenue-sharing model. Earnings are paid out monthly, subject to a minimum payout threshold. Full details are available in the Instructor Agreement.

Code of Conduct

All users are expected to engage with the Uzika Academy platform in a respectful and constructive manner. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Posting offensive, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content in reviews, discussions, or any public area of the platform.
  • Impersonating another person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts, platform systems, or data through hacking, social engineering, or other means.
  • Sharing account credentials with third parties or using a single account for multiple users.
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or other malicious code that may affect the functionality of the platform.
  • Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the platform's services or the experience of other users.

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.

Intellectual Property

The Uzika Academy platform, including its name, logo, design, software, and all associated trademarks, is the property of Uzika Academy and is protected by intellectual property laws.

User-Generated Content

When you submit content to the platform (such as course reviews, discussion posts, or forum contributions), you grant Uzika Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the platform's services.

Instructor Content

Instructors retain ownership of the course content they create. By publishing on Uzika Academy, instructors grant the platform a license to host, distribute, and display their content to enrolled students. Full details regarding intellectual property rights for instructors are outlined in the Instructor Agreement.

DMCA & Takedown Requests

If you believe that your intellectual property has been infringed upon, you may submit a formal takedown request to our designated copyright agent. We will respond promptly to valid claims and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Uzika Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Service Availability

We do not warrant that the platform will be available at all times or be free from errors, bugs, or interruptions. We may perform maintenance, updates, or other changes that temporarily affect the availability of the platform without prior notice.

Third-Party Links

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Uzika Academy. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

In no event shall Uzika Academy's total liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the platform during the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.
